A-Capella covers of popular songs with gimmicks (beatboxing, body percussion, etc) and "talented", yet uninteresting vocalists = Youtube money

maybe most people don't prioritize music the way you do?

you do the exact same thing as them, just for different things. i can guarantee you that something besides music you like/consume is completely laughable to a snob for that particular thing. food, clothes, books, etc. get over yourself with your "actually making me sick" garbage.

1. nearly every human has a voice, so vocal music is immediately relatable
2. voices have a pretty warm timbre

I think it's the way they ornament their melody and voice, it's the same as in regular popular music. And people who are used to this kind of singing will easily find this likable, also the straightforward harmony. It's just kitch and people like it.

In general, I believe hate is a waste of energy. If I don't like something, I try to completely avoid thinking about it or discussing it unless someone asks me directly. With Pentatonix, for some reason, I'm willing to devote a bit of energy into loathing them -- enough to reply to a thread about them, if not actually make a thread myself -- because they're just fucking horrible. The only artist I remember hating almost as much was Kimya Dawson.
