wtf, I love EPs now
>recently listen to prospect hummer
>it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard
Why did nobody fucking tell me Vashti collaborated with Animal Collective?
Relistened to Water Curses today, as well - that's a good one too.
Hoping The Painters gets better than Kinda Bonkers. Track is alright - some neat ideas, catchy, but not a direction I'd hope they keep going in. They probably won't, since it's the PW companion EP, but still.

I'm a fucking narcissist. Totally hijacked the thread without even mentioning the OP. I guess I just really, really wanted to talk about AnCo EPs.
FBK was the first thing I listened to whilst peaking on shrooms. I loved it before then, and I love it even more now. It's probably their peak as a band so far, IMO. It's really something special.

OP here, this was a stealth AnCo thread anyways
Listening to On a Highway right now. So fucking good.

I've always found that to be *technically* the weakest track in my personal opinion, but that's only because the other ones are better, not because it's specifically bad in any way.
I think the percussion in this EP is really noticeable. The drums in On a Highway and I Think I Can are especially strong.
One of my favorite moments is when the huge drum hits come in on I Think I Can, and how the vocals shift to the off-beats when they hit.
Gonna love this new one too. Fall be kind is definitely one of the best EPs I've listened to ever.
First half of sky is also one of ancos best songs ever. 2nd half not even needed to be included
