Why the hell is LYSFLATH so acclaimed? Is it only because it's such a good entry point into the genre? Because that's literally it, as soon as you get into more post-rock, you realize how basic and rigid the whole thing is. It was really influential, sure, but it influenced bands who sound exactly the same, how is that fun or good?

Don't get me wrong, it's not bad at all, in fact, if it was about 30-40 minutes shorter it'd be pretty good. Otherwise - get into some real post-rock you faggots

How about you post what you consider the "real post-rock" because I've listened to a lot of post-rock albums and so far it hasn't been toped. In fact I feel like it's the exact opposite of what your are saying. As soon as you get into more post-rock, you realize how good and exceptional the whole thing is because the rest of post-rock artists are just trying to create something similar resulting in a complete blad and generic album.
