Yeah sure. Magnolia etc. I knew him a little bit back in the day when I lived in Ohio.

He was never very highly regarded at the time. We considered him a cheap Will Oldham rip off.

I think he was one of those artists, like Cobain, whose reputation was bolstered by a young and semi-tragic death.
