I haven't listened yet but the way I see it there are basically three possibilities for the Scaruffi score.

>he thinks it isn't as good so he gives it lower than 8
>he thinks it's equally good and gives it another 8
>he thinks it is better and is forced to give it the second 8.5 of the century

I will honestly eat my shit if he gives it a 9, based on things he's said in interviews I just really don't think he will ever give another 9 no matter how good an album is. There are SO MANY albums that have come out and I've said "this is it, this is gonna be his next 9 for sure" and the he goes and gives it like a fucking 6.5 and I'm just like "whaaat"...like for example I thought that Atrocity Exhibition was definitely gonna be at LEAST a 7.5 but then he goes and gives it a 6?

One of the things that could help this new album get a higher score is the fact that there is pretty much no hype about them, I don't think any major publicatons even reviewed the first album and Scaruffi loves to shit on hyped up albums so the fact that Impossible Nothing is still "obscure" will probably lead to a higher chance of a higher score.

I mean Impossible Nothing is literally only popular now BECAUSE of Scaruffi. Yeah Fantano mentioned them in a video but he didn't actually review the album like Scaruffi did, and an 8/10 from Scaruffi means a LOT more than any score Fantano would give. Fantano gies 20+ 8/10 scores every fucking year, Scaruffi has given only 5 this entire decade (and less than 20 for the 2000s).
