dont let ur grip inhibit ur back progress. perhaps hook grip if ur against straps?

Not that this is the place for it, but in my experience with PT/rehab, compounds are better for fixing gross motor issues than isolations, which can exacerbate imbalances.

Like you said, I'm not competing, so I don't care if the lift is garbage as long as it's helping me fix my arm/neck.

Thanks. I never got comfy with the hook grip, but that's probably a decent idea. As I said, though, I think i'm making progress on my injury doing things this way.
