Usually wears off after a few days. Some of us (including me) have it permanently but after a while it stops becoming as noticeable and you learn to live with it. Hope it fades for you though annon.

You should be fine, it took four days for my tinnitus to go away after I went to see Death Grips

tinnitus is temporary yes. can't say if what you have is temporary but you'll find out eventually if it goes away or not.

as for suggestions, use earplugs and dont' be afraid to even use them on public transportations and shit where the sound can be loud.
also it is very important that you do not listen music at high volumes.

I'm OP, thanks bros given this I'm hopeful that I should be fine. It's noticeably better than it was last night so I'm taking that as a good sign. Will definitely wear earplugs next time. I can't even really notice it unless I'm in silence anyway so I guess it's not too bad.

I've never been actually diagnosed or been to a doctor for tinnitus but sometimes I hear ringing and certain noises hurt my ears. It really isn't that bad though, definitely able to live with it.
