I really, really like post-rock
Grails is fucking awesome but you should listen to their later material. One of the few bands I know of where they actually got better and better with each release.
How do you deal with 3rd wave cancer as a post-rock fan? As a metal fan it makes me really hate post-rock.

I don't think about metal at all.
>>70953138
It doesn't really offend me, 3rd wave just all sounds the same. Which could mean pleasant at best, boring at worst.
Stoner rock/metal for example has the same problem, but no one shits on that genre to the same degree.

3rd wave is borderline muzak
it's completely inoffesnive, so I don't care it exists I just try to avoid listening to it

Grails are a third wave band playing kickass second wave, essentially
>>70953635
The Confines of Heat split is GOAT
>>70953641
Dude you're replying to here, i love Grails, what are some more modern bands like them?
>>70953681
The Drift. Noumena and Memory Drawings are great albums. Sounds closer to first wave because of the jazz influence.

yep, totally is. i was lucky, i actually got to see maerati live with jerry. it was literally like weeks before he died. such a tight live band

post rock is just new age music for dudes with beards. Well it's not even that anymore, as the dudes with beards have moved on to trendier pastures, now only weebs and furries, ie. the very dregs of society, listen to post rock

post rock was never really a beard genre.

Imagine being this angry at the world.
