Unfortunately I don't think latin america is just "right" for neofolk, they don't have the same social and historical circumstances that led to the genre in france, germany, and britain and other parts of europe. Hell we don't even have neofolk in the us except for blood axis I guess

It's a really pretty genre and I'm trying to think of how it could work and all I could think of is some like indian revival kind of thing, but I think it's probably too "early" for that. Maybe in argentina it could work for the european-argentine population and be in the same group as all other neofolk.
