I admit I'm upset that he put the vocals in the back since Yow is the best thing about the band, but I have Scratch Acid EP for a 10/10, Goat is there for an 8/10

The vocals become more upfront with each release. Down has Yow at his most audible under Albini's recordings.

Is there still a lot of screaming of the Scratch Acid style? I stopped after Liar because I didn't want to be disappointed anymore that one of the best vocalists in music was having his potential wasted.

Jesus Lizard were best experienced live. You can hear Yow great when you're carrying him around on your shoulders.
