Plastic Beach vs Demon Days, which do you prefer and why IMO,

I can see why people would prefer Demon Days but Plastic Beach is more interesting like you said, and I like the songs on there more usually

demon days is far better but both are good

Even the slower tracks, like To Binge, are so great.
I feel like the add a lot more interesting backing instruments over their beat.

Definitely Demon Days. Both albums are good but Demon Days is way more consistent. While Plastic Beach has plenty of good songs, almost every song on Demon Days feels like an essential part of the album.

I suspect that on Plastic Beach Damon was more focused on musical experimentation whereas on Demon Days he was more focused on songwriting so I think ultimately whichever you prefer depends on which quality you value more.
