Its about muddiness. Beast in the Field used 4 full stacks of 6x12 and 4x12s. Big shows they had poweramps slaved that were running 6x12s. that was loud, one time i saw them with the full set up and dust started falling from the rafters from the building shaking, it looked like it was raining ash. You might like it, but i had reall trouble with note defintition at loud volumes.

Sounds like don't keep your eyes open the market even slightly.

B-Stock is sold differently as far as ESP goes. Most B-stock doesn't make it to the AUDM market at all.

$1000-1200 is for near-mint used examples through dealers, generally in less popular body styles like that SV I mentioned earlier.

New stock that sits around for a bit (ESP isn't as popular as competitors in that part of the country) end up in the $1600-2000 range. Hell if you want to talk actual beaters ESP Standards pop up for <$1000, it's not common but they do.

A spanner was thrown into the system for a little bit with the introduction of E-II stock, but it's stabilized again now.

The guy was looking at a $2799 E-II. You can get a semi-custom deal setup (small batch) from ESP Custom Shop for similar money if you know where to ask.

Yeah, I need some help, guys. I'm trying to get my friend's shitty Squier Bullet strat into order, that is restring it, correct the intonation, clean it up, just general maintenance. The problem is that I can't get the fucking strings out through the bridge. The guy hasn't changed his strings in literally almost a decade, so my guess is that the nuts (or whatever that thing at the end of a string is called) are rusted to shit and completely lodged in there. I've already tried spraying WD-40 onto a q-tip and cleaning it up, and also even spraying WD-40 directly into the cavities, but to no avail. The strings are stuck. What can I do to get them out of there? And yeah, I've tried to use a paper pin.

I play exclusively D'Addario, I get the same problem you get with ernie balls, while D'Addario stay decent even after a month.
Also they're brighter out of the box. I'm not sure but maybe climate can affect how they "age".

I don't know how to describe it without playing it for you but it has that 'spider' sound that you hear in horror movies. Play this every day for some time. It will stretch your fingers and improve your accuracy. Especially good excercise for finger picking.

Also just going by your picture try to get your fingers as close to the fret as possible without muting the string. Mainly an acoustic thing but a good habit to get into.

yes that's the sound. It's easier to visualize it like pic related. (got bored of filling in numbers, you get the idea)

start at 1 and work your way until you run out of strings then go back. What he's doing is more advanced but worth doing once your fingers are stronger.

Also his advice about playing the major scale in thirds is a VERY good practice exercise. Not only does it improve your finger strength but it's great for memorizing which notes are a third apart in each major scale, which is a very useful skill to have.
