>being hated just for the kind of music yo listen to
It's not okay to be prejudiced, kids.

Halls is one of my all time favorite tracks - I'm actually getting "Watch your step to Hell - it's a long fall" tattooed.
Another of my all time favorite tracks

Hell's Pit is a masterpiece imho, probably in their top 3 albums.
Missing Link: Lost is probably up there too; it's basically Hell's Pit 2.0
Vomit reminds me a lot of Burning Up

>Meanwhile, Missing Link: Found fucking sucks
Probably their worst album, while Lost is one of their best.
Kinda weird
MAGNETS
HOW DO THEY FUCKING WORK?
I haven't seriously listened to them since 2004 and I haven't been able to take them even slightly seriously since 2009.
But goddamn if in the late 90s and early 2000s they weren't my favorite band
This shit was my jam.

Yeap, met some cool ass motherfuckers through their music too.
Just gravitated from the music as I got older.
ICP had the potential to be legitimate bigshots in the rap scene, they knew how to write intricate wordplay and frequently worked with a great producer
Mike E. Clarke
who knew just what kind of instrumentals would 'pop' with ICP's rambunctious schoolboy-esque lyrics and tone
The problem is that they decided to go the easy way and appeal to backwater whiteboys with simplistic rhymes and easy to understand filler tracks
Ohwell, at least they're successful

They also chose to stay independent, part of the reason "legitimate" rappers are so big is that they sign with major labels - and you hear many of them on the radio, which ICP doesn't do (both because they refuse to and because nobody would play their shit anyway)
