I doubt it's a Guzheng then, both because of the gauges of the strings and Guzhengs rarely being found outside of China.

My guess is a Đàn tranh or Gong Zither. They're both native to Vietnam, have similarly uniform string gauges, and the former has 16 bridges while the latter can be anywhere from 10-18. Because there's only one row of bridges, I'd probably lean more toward a Gong Zither
