Ratings so far:
Pablo Honey: 5/10
The Bends: 10000000000/10
OK Computer: 10/10
What I already know on this album:
Nothing.
What I've heard:
It's OK Computer but better. We'll see in a moment.

>It's OK Computer but better. We'll see in a moment.
You will hate this album so much. Like every one on the first listening after liking ok computer so much
It's much more out-there than OKC. Many will tell you that Kid A isn't that experimental, but it's plenty wild for a band who were the number one buzzword of their day. Kid A changed my taste forever, it takes you into it's world and swallows your soul whole
>>70852174
I'm sure I'm gonna be castrated for this but....
..I think I liked The Bends better than OK.
>>70852241
nah don't worry lad. The Bends has more obvious standouts and catchiness than OKC, but I reckon after a while the underlying message and scope of OKC will win you over
But my favourite radiohead album is TKoL anyway so what do I know
we don't have a rock group anywhere near Radiohead's caliber right now
this is not good
My copy skipped a track by accident.
So far really enjoyed track one, track two just started.
>>70852306
>after a while the underlying message
Don't do that man...
Don't pull the 'there's a deeper meaning' stuff, cmon.
Either way I did like the robotic/technology theme of the album.
>>70852241
the bends is sick dw
kid a is best tho
> mfw Hail to the Thief is my favorite
>>70852140
Give it a few listens, and don't take your first impressions too seriously
I'm really liking this actually...
It's very...digital...cold...techy.
But in the best possible ways...
Radiohead fags disgust me. Truly.
Your shitty Ok Computer is a meme album for lonely sad boys in the 1990s in Britain.
It doesn't hold any relevance anymore, and musically it is shitty noise rock.
At least Kid-A had SOMETHING creative about it with the composition and unique instrumentation. Though even Kid-A is a meme album.
How about you stop hyping up these shitty albums just because you are depressed FAGS and you want people to give you the attention you crave.
Jesus fucking Christ
EVERONE RISE FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.
FOR IT IS BEAUTIFUL....

1000/10, BEST CLOSER ON A RADIOHEAD ALBUM THUS FAR.
I WILL SEEEE YOUUUU
IN THE NEEEEXT LIIIIIIFE
I'm part of the matrix now, goodbye friends.
Album was good but I liked the bends slightly better.
1. The Bends
2. Kid A
3. In Rainbows
20. Pablo Honey.
>>70853256
you've already listened to In Rainbows?
>>70853256
Hey, for the next thread can you put OP as your name, like you did on the last one? Also, are you doing Amnesiac tonight?
>>70853194
>BEST CLOSER ON A RADIOHEAD ALBUM THUS FAR
this is true. MPS is GOAT and has the best feels
>>70853282
Not sure since I got school work.
>>70853271
I am REALLY looking forward to In Rainbows since Nude is my favorite Radiohead song.
>>70853326
you've probably heard this before but expect Amnesiac to have a much more overtly dark tone than their other albums, and for it to possibly be more of a grower than a shower
>>70853364
>much more overtly dark tone
Uh oh.....
>>70853372
also expect Life in a Glass House to blow Motion Picture out of the water t b h
>>70853194
A Wolf at the Door is even better.
>>70853256
>not listening to albums in order.
how can u be this awful.
>>70852386
>Don't pull the 'there's a deeper meaning' stuff
but it's true, the stories (or truthes) in OKC are far more significant than what The Bends brought up
>>70853771
...Are you fucking stupid?
I was ranking them favorite to least.
I've BEEN listening to them in order, that's just the order of my favorite to least so far.
>>70853452
bro.... u r wrong...
>>70853771
>>70853941
Ok turns out I'M fucking retarted because 3. was suppose to be OK COMPUTER not In Rainbows since I haven't listened to rainbows yet.
BUT STILL.
>>70853992

>>70852530
>shitty noise rock.
ill go for shitty but OKC isnt noisey in the slightest
>>70854154
Hail to the Thief needs more love dude.
>>70852140
How are people so reckless with their ratings? Artistic value varies so much in its impact and metaphysical force, ranging from being a catchy tune, to bringing emotional catharsis of some kind, to carving its own universe in your mind and changing your perception of something forever in a permanent and serious way. Why do people throw out 10/10 with such reckless abandon? A 10 would be a piece of music or art that literally transforms your mind in a fundamental way, and people just slap 10/10 on any album they think is great.
>>70854198
This. But anyway, OP probably just started to listen to music kinda seriously, he will stop acting like that someday.
>>70854253
>OP probably just started to listen to music kinda seriously, he will stop acting like that someday.
You're funny
>>70854253
Or he'll become one of those dudes who gives a 5 to anything he thought was cool on RYM.
>>70854274
Well... MAYBE he will stop... I guess... maybe in a long time... or maybe he just never does it and keeps giving 10's to half of the things he listens to... who knows... just maybe.
>>70854198
>taking it this seriously
look at OPs posts, everything is extremely hyperbolic (10000000000/10)
>>70854293
C'mon dude, I was trying to be optimistic about OP acting like an idiot. Fucking damn it I hate that people.
>>70854315
I know people on RYM who unironically says "I would give 10's if I could", so I'm not 100% sure if I OP is serious or not.
But anyway, even if he's being hyperbolic he's basically saying that he thinks that all those albums are a 10.
>>70854357
Ok fine, you're right.
I MEANT to give it a 99999999/10 instead, but I figured no one would complain if I bumped it up one.
But fine, you caught me, I rated it a little too high.
>>70854302
I'm gonna give One Billions out of tin till the day I die.
>>70854293
>>70854321
I'm going to join RYM SPECIFICALLY to spite you now. I hope you're happy.
>>70854385
That's still a 10.
>>70854357
true, but in a previous thread he said that their reactions are a mix of genuine and memeing
>all those albums are a 10
but he gave PH a 5 and obviously preferred The Bends over OKC and Kid A, so i would assume that he wouldn't really give them 10s
>>70854409
Ok, so 2....Billion.
Got it!
>>70854408
A lot of people do that shit anyway. I would say "muh, this board is +18" but you can be +18 and still be immature.
>>70854453
>but you can be +18 and still be immature.
That's the point of half of these boards though.
And FINE I'll give honest ratings too when (and if) I ever join RYM.
>>70854424
I guess, I don't even know how people works at this point.
>>70854468
>That's the point of half of these boards though.
Meh, I guess that's true.
>And FINE I'll give honest ratings too when (and if) I ever join RYM.
Great dude.
>>70852530
i bet you post in kpop general
>>70852140
>boring studio forced britpop
>that good
Lolololol
>>70854514
Well EXCUSE ME if you didn't have an existential adventure when you listened to The Bends.
Guess we're just not alike that way.
>>70854531
>he unironically uses the phrase "existential adventure"
Oh holy shit my sides
>>70854545
>unironically
...You...weren't around for that thread were you?
>>70852241
Yeah that's fine, The Bends is seriously great.
Am I in r/music?
>>70854673
>around for that thread
No what was it?
>>70852530
>noise rock
Nice to see someone has no idea what there talking about and just came here for replys.
Here you go now fuck off back to /b/
>>70855235
It was just me saying my thoughts on the bends. And I obviously over exaggerated.
It's at least 50% ironic.
Pablo thread didn't have a theme because fuck Pablo.
Ok computer I kept talking about how the album implied robots would take over humans and exterminate them all. The reactions were over exaggerated but I still loved the album.
Next thread today or tomorrow?
>>70855626
Tomorrow. I got school work currently.
