living in the midwest gives you a really good sense of the environment they were in. It's like really depressing here but you have all the freedom in the world. The Watch Me Jumpstart documentary is really good for that as well.

Same Place The Fly Got Smashed is highly underrated.
It's so gloomy, the feels hit me harder than any other gbv album. It's catchy as fuck too, just like their best works.

Specifically, I guess I really like Hardcore UFOs, Tractor Rape Chain. I like the one guy's voice, the one who goes further in his range, the higher voice. I'm not sure who he is, tho.
