best turntable?
Along the lines of vinyls in general, what's the best way to build your set up cheaply and efficiently? I've seen these mentioned a lot for turntables, but what about amps, speakers, needles, and places to buy the records themselves? Sorry for the beginner questions.
One that has a counterweight

the at-120 comes with a decent needle (for beginners) no need to upgrade. it also comes with a built-in preamp so you don't need that. just powered speakers. literally just look on amazon or best buy and see what has high reviews in your price range. also i don't know where you live so i can't recommend places to buy albums. how can u not know this? discogs and record label websites are good places if you don't want tk leave your home to shop
project debut III is my dream turntable
I have an lp120 currently
Technics SL-MA1
If you ever see one under $200, get it

Search Craigslist and find a used record store or flea market in your town. You just need a turntable, receiver and speakers.

What's wrong with p-mount?
I'm currently running a Pro-ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB through a Cambridge Audio Topaz AM10 and Q Acoustics 3020 bookshelf speakers
I can't recommend any component of my set up enough
I may went a bit overboard with the Turntable, but the Ortofon 2M Red is really great cartridge and the built-in speed switch as a big plus
