It's difficult to explain, but it feels like your consciousness and sensory processing is altered to its very core. At higher doses, your sense of self can fade or be lost entirely.

Basically, lots of things gain emotional significance, you start having weird empathetic and "big picture" thoughts, you may have new insights about yourself and others, etc. The strange visual distortions can start to apply to your own thoughts and perceptions, if that makes sense.

Dopamine is also amplified, so music sounds really incredible. Combined with the emotional and consciousness changes, music can sound very impactful and complex. I don't

I can't really describe it just by words though; you really have to try it. It feels unlike almost any other drug.
