More so the latter, but don't get me wrong. There are definitely details that I never heard before that I can hear clearly now. Also, there are new effects on the guitar and the vocals at times, which are pretty neat.

I kinda wish they went for a different mixing on Falling from Cloud 9. It was the one I was most looking forward to, but the way it begins sounds very compressed
