Why not? It's not the original conception, but it's what they chose to release as Smile. It's just that the long and tortured recording process led to the myth of a SMiLE that was unfinished. In reality, it was finished, it just was a disappointment compared to what people were led to believe it would be (and with the amount of hype going into it, literally anything would have been a let down).

I'm counting Smiley Smile as a different album to Smile, by which I mean the Smile Sessions or similar recreation of the full sessions
