FUCK. These are my two favorite Beatles albums. I was just telling somebody today that I can't decide between them.

Abbey Road by a long shit. Revolver has too many of the cliche generic 60s pop tracks, while every track on Abbey Road is worth it. The best tracks on Revolver are better than the best tracks on Abbey Road though imo.

Revolver was innovative but in a very explicitly self-contained way. Abbey Road was simply ahead of its time and in a league of its own at the time.
