This is the best album ever made. Prove me wrong.
here's a better album
this is far better, and hence that cannot be the best
>prove me wrong

This. Get outta here with your amerikanische shit, OP

not to be a weeb but...
I treat both the Glorious German and English versions equally (I can understand the English vocals while I can feel the music better listening to German version). I simply prefer the cover of the remaster to the original.
>>70789940
My nigga. Besides the little 1 minute tracks it's 10/10
>>70789878
How about proving us right for a change?
Not even their best
>>70789920
>>70789940
both good but menschmaschine is better
seriously what other band sounds like kraftwerk?
the only thing that comes close are a few detroit techno musicians, but thats mostly because they kept using kraftwerk samples.
>>70789878
How can the best album ever made be decent at best?
I didn't think Neon Lights was that good.
>>70789878
Autobahn is better desu
>>70790219
Same here and The Man-Machine as well
>>70789878
Autobahn and Ralf & Florian are the patrician Kraftwerk
>>70789914
>>70789878
what's even different about them
>>70790647
the title
Я TBOЙ CЛУГA
Я TBOЙ PAБOTHИК
>>70790647
One of these is an international audience oriented English remaster, and Die Menschmaschine is the original, German version
>>70790759
EOOOOWWWWW
BRBRRBRR
eeeeeEEEEE
DU DI DU
>>70789878
This is the best Kraftwerk album. The Man Machine is good but not as good as this.
>>70789878
What in the absolute FUCK is this? I just listened to the first "song" and it's literally a bunch of noise. It's not even different noises. It's like the same thing repeating for three minutes. I don't understand how people can enjoy this. If the whole album is like this, I don't want any part of it. This is not a "classic" album. This is fucking noise.
>>70791515
stop spamming this meme
no one thinks it's funny
>>70790170
>seriously what other band sounds like kraftwerk?
Ladytron during their first 2 albums. Seriously.
>>70790647
If you were a TRUE Kraftwerk fan you would know. Get out of my sight you poser.
>>70789878
>Prove me wrong.
>>70790170
>seriously what other band sounds like kraftwerk?
are you for real
>>70790625
>Autobahn and Ralf & Florian are the patrician Kraftwerk
Yes. They should've really continued making progressive electronic and ambient music and not synthpop.
>>70789878
>posts the disgusting 2009 remaster cover
I really hate it, I mean the original
>>70789914
just looks so much better
I will admit though I like the Autobhan 2009 remaster cover very well, pays a good homage to the original british cover which was stylistically way ahead of its time
>>70793121
also, best kraftwerk songs:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tw8-TlQBcBA
from the live from radio bremin bootleg when claus dinger (neu) was their drummer
this as well is amazing:

where is album 9?
>>70791506
I don't really like this album. It seems like an indulgence in pointless and marketable computer crap.
Trans-Europe Express, Autobahn, and Mensch-Machine were all varying COMMENTARY on the nature and ambiguity of computers, but Komputerwelt seems like "beep boops" with no real purpose
Tour de France is absolutely dick hardening
>>70792434
name 1 song that sounds like kraftwerk that isn't planet rock

>>70789878
Radioactivity was a much better album in my opinion.
Kraftwerk lost me after Man Machine.
>>70796991
Such an aesthetic album cover.
>>70797399
their faces just so smooth and silky
>>70796991
>the beginning of the album

>>70796991
This is good, too.
>>70792262
Stop posting this trash in every kraftwerk thread
>>70799047
You like their synthpop period, we get it.
>>70799047
Computerworld> Trans Europa Express> Ralf Und Florian> Radio Activity> Autobahn> Man Machine> Self titled> self titled 2> Electric Cafe
>>70789878
Man Machine is god-tier, but Tour de France is just ... even better
>>70799086
Stop being an obnoxious asshat. This is the first time I posted it in a Kraftwerk thread. By the way that album is great, plebster.
>>70794074
>>70799152
Tour de France is one of my favorites.
It was great when I saw them live, too. They projected old footage of the race in the background and wove in some Detroit techno into the set. Fantastic.

being electronic doesn't automatically make a band sound like kraftwerk
>>70799162
shit taste, shit album, you have autism because I definitely remember you from the last thread and I'm not even the same poster you replied to
>>70796991
Without a question their best album. Stands head and shoulders over everything else they did.
If Kraftwerk were Steely Dan, Trans Europe Express would be Aja
Not sure about best album ever made (I'm more of a fuckboi for Trans Europa Express), but Man-Machine/Mensch-Maschine is probably my second favorite Kraftwerk album of all time.
>>70789920
Ayyy, fucking love this record a lot.
>>70799127
What about Tour De France, The Mix, Tone Float/Organisation?
>>70801549
YMO is pretty similar to kraftwerk, very early electronic band. Theyre sound is much more different though. Watching them play live is a fucking treat, no mid or sequencing, just completely live electronic music
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdalyjjfVxY
Also fun fact, Michael Jackson "covered" a ymo song
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RH031lZz6EY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxCr71BLJ1c
>>70802647
YMO members have a completely different background in music (jazz, funk, punk/new wave) and I think that makes a difference in their sound, distinctively japanese, denser (less minimal), more 70s sounding, more attracted to conventional pop music and disco than kraftwerk who were coming from a krautrock background and were also classically-trained
>>70802749
>>70802647
most underrated YMO song

The first time I heard Europe Endless it brought me to tears, remembering my first trip to Europ 7 years ago when I was 20 and how great life seemed then
Hall of Mirrors is my last favorite song on that album though
>>70802864
franz sherbert is my favorite song on TEE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJqnc_0mZmA
and neon lights actually brought me to tears once, when I was just getting into kraftwerk. I don't know it just made me really happy listening to it.
Also to kraftwerk fans i really recomend listneing to the bootleg live recordings from their 1981 tour, IMO that was them in their prime (live at least) with the fucking coolest live setup, bringing their entire kling klang studio with them.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFZrgprLfxE
There are a ton of bootleg recordings of varying quality from around the world, lots including the amazing live version of pocket calculator where they would go into the crowd and let them play the tiny instrument solos. so energetic, none of this four people standing behind podiums checking email on their ipads.
Can someone help me get into Computer World?
To me it seems more about making electrodance tracks instead of catchy synth like Man Machine. IMO they peaked at MM but general consensus disagrees with me so I want know where I'm going wrong
>>70802864
spiegelsaal is great tho
>>70802946
>IMO that was them in their prime (live at least) with the fucking coolest live setup
I agree. recordings of Computerlove from that time are better than the album versions, I think
>>70790219
>best song on album
>not that good
>I likw kraftwerk
It's literally music for autists
>>70802827
One of the best songs ever made desu.
Re: Kraftwerk:
Computer World = Radioactivity = Ralf & Florian > The Man Machine > Kraftwerk 2 > Trans Europe Express > Autobahn > Tour de France > Kraftwerk > Electric Cafe
>>70791506
this is the best kraftwerk album easily, the synth sounds are so relaxing its just beautiful
>>70803067
nah senpai u got it all wrong, official kraftwerk power rankings:
the mix > Expo2000 > Aerodynamik + La Forme Remixes > electric cafe
the rest is shit and not even worth mentioning

is this the hardest bait known the man?

It's extremely revolutionary. You can't say anything is the best ever.

You're just a dumbass with shit taste. Shame on you, autist. Now, fuck off.
>>70791506
Just tried this out, did they steal the title track from Coldplay or something?

Correct.

If this was just the track Autobahn it would be my favorite album of all time.
