Actually this is the main thing I need help for.

I'm currently trying to find the best way to get the "band" sound while it still mainly just being me.

I write the songs/lyrics and learn to play them at an open mic singer songwriter level. Then I go into guitar pro and write bass, drums, parts.

Ideally I'll pay a drummer to do session work for me with the charts I make him. Record everything to that and be good to go. Mix it myself.

Promotion has always been my biggest hurdle. I'm pretty autistic when it comes to actually get art out where people see it.

My idea is to create a sort of comicbook/picturebook/storyboard. I'm a good artist with a pen and pencil, but not a great animator by any means. I am thinking that doing some simple but effective pictures could give it a lyric music video feel but I can still do all of it diy on my computer.
