In an old Tumblr post, Frank Ocean said that as a kid his dad was mad that their waitress at a resturaunt was a tranny so they left.

Given that Frank's dad abandoned the family shortly after, is a deadbeat in poverty, and tried to sue Russell Simmons for $140 million a couple years ago for vague reasons and failed, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the dad is looking for some easy cash.
