What song or album should I listen to to get into your favorite band?
Surf Nicaragua
I don't have a favorite band.

Lies, there has to be a band you listen to, and like more than most other bands.

I find that hard to believe. Even if you listen to tons of different music, there's got to be at least one artist that you listen to more often than any others.
A lot of people seem to like this song.

Putting this one in the encyclopedia of useful information

Not really. Everything I listen to is spread out pretty liberally. I try not to overplay things.

Hope it gets you out of a jam one day.

Song is alright.
Reminds a bit of Animal Collective with a bit of a more colorful and upbeat sounds, and a lot more screaming which I'm not a big fan of. The vocals when they were not screaming were really enjoyable though. 7/10 I might look into the band.

A lot of people might disagree and say that Funeral is better, but I really love The Suburbs and I think it's a great intro to Arcade Fire.

The Mollusk.
Chocolate and Cheese, White Pepper, and Quebec are their most accessible.
GodWeenSatan, The Pod, and Pure Guava should be listened to last.

I don't
People always have a problem with her voice, I did at first too, but it grows on you.
This seems to be her most accessible:

If you thought that was alright then try either the first 6 songs on Have One On Me, or listen to Ys. Ys is what did it for me, I hated her voice in the beginning but forced myself to listen to whole thing, now it's my personal GOAT. She has some beautiful arrangments and non-traditional song structures that you'll love on the first listen.
Welcome to the pleasuredome is a fucking masterpiece

I wouldn't go that far, it's better than most 80s albums it's overlong, he is a good singer
