I respectfully disagree. DDN is one of my favorite pieces of music, ever. I love the way it goes from a standard, riff-based noisy punk album to absolutely dissonant chaos and then back again flawlessly (see: Silver Rocket, Candle, etc.). There really is nothing like it. And then you have tracks like The Sprawl and Hyperstation that build and release tension with intricately layered string arrangements that come and go like waves on the shore.

Sister, BMR, Washing Machine, and A Thousand Leaves (underrated as fuck) are also very impressive, but they lack the compositional and emotive genius that is Daydream Nation.
