One of my favorite prog albums. The original mix is really bad, but the 2004. remaster is what I want my album to sound like, when I make one. Other than that, the album is about Greek mythology with harmonized guitars, memorable melodies and great bass lines. I'd definitely recommend it for any prog fans. What do you have to say about the album you posted? I haven't listened to any Italian prog yet, but I'm planning to.

Uomo di pezza is a fucking masterpiece and a bit underated too. The lyrics are really fabulous, the srumentantion is top tier. The drums, synths and guitars really mix well together and overall it's one of the best composed prog rock albums.
If you want to listen to some others italian prog rock albums see pic related.

Well, from the chart I particolary reccomend Zarathustra from Museo rosenbach, truly a great album. I also reccomend Alphataurus, Contaminzione - Il rovescio della medaglia, Cervello - melos and Panna fredda - Uno.

A really underated album but really good.

almost through now, very good indeed
The first Hatfield and the North is the peak of Canterbury Scene, imo. It hits a lot of prog sweet spots for me, such as: ample Fender Rhodes; intricate female vocal harmonies; and complex, jazzy compositions with unexpectedly beautiful melodies. And a Robert Wyatt cameo.
Thoughts on this album/recommendations that are similar? I'm familiar with The Rotter's Club and National Health, and I think they come very close (especially the first National Health album).
