It pissed me off that everyone attacked Joe Queer for supporting the Darren Wilson fund. Regardless of whether or not I agree with it, punk rock's call out culture really gets in the way of music. I feel like a lot of very political punk scenes (the SF bay area scene, for example) are pretty mediocre because they place more emphasis on the lyrics and ideology rather than the music.
