Too bad Matt fucking lost it with the lyrics after OoS. This album felt personal in a way nothing else has since.

desu, I suspect what fucked them was their US label refusing to release the album. This probably made Matt decide to streamline their sound to make it more commercially palatable (they were literally told OoS was commercially unviable for the US)
