They surprising held up the quality really well, I expected them to get poppy and shitty after Eno left but they pretty much sounded the same, only had a couple blunders in the late 70's then made a come back with Avalon.

Well of course they pretty much sounded the same. Eno never had any involvement with the writing process anyway, it was always 100% Ferry.

We're a rare and kinda corny breed, but for people like me who take 80's sophistipop like Scritti Politti, Prefab Sprout, ABC, David Sylvian, etc. very seriously and go deep on the genre, Roxy Music and especially Bryan Ferry are kind of like religious figures.

He's our Robert Fripp, I guess you'd say.

Good band. Even w/o Eno. Still good band.
