I listened to it once a few years ago after being linked to it by an online buddy who had psychosis. IIRC there's minimal instrumentation by Albini, the focus is definitely on these fucked up stories.

I remember just having no idea what the hell I was hearing. The guy who linked it to me claimed it was a banger, I opened it up and just heard a girl obviously underage talking about rape and was beyond disturbed.

Ended up listening to the whole thing and I regret it. I genuinely believe this is the most fucked up album available for ready listening. I'm sure more fucked up things exist but I mean this one is on fucking YouTube.

Everything I'm reading rides straight down the line between actual pedophilia and an obsessive interest in pedophilia. I think those are two quite different things. As to Buyer's Market, I think people misinterpret it as perverse. I think it's shocking, but I don't think it's meant to be enjoyable, and that's a big, big difference. Also very different from the content of Pseudoscorpion, if that album truly exists (or existed before it was a talking point, if it exists now/)

But then I read about Pure magazine in his past, and that's just bizarre. Hard to tell from descriptions if it was genuine criminality or extreme art.
