Fugazi made an entire career out of one song with a good bassline on their debut + posturing the straight edge/ DIY gimmick

They literally put out 6 albums in a row containing ~60 shit, forgettable variations of 'Waiting Room' and called it a day. Their last album showed some actual progression but too little too late. One of the dullest bands of all time.

To me, they brought nothing exciting in the musical sense. They sound like every other prog band, even though they are proficient at their instruments it still sounds like they got stuck in 90s and their production is absolute shite.

It bores the shit out of me when someone decides to play one of their 40 minute hiatus where Portnoy hits his shit-toned snares in a manner that is only likable by former metalheads who just don't wanna cut their hair.
