Which one /mu/?
Hard choice but I have to go with Deathconciousness. It's such a behemoth of an album, I love it.
Giles Corey
Patrician coming through.
Giles Corey has more variation, less filler and better songwriting and production but Deathcon's ambition and genre-blending style is unlike anything else
I listen to Deathcon a lot more but they're probably about equal in quality overall

The first thirty minutes of Deathconsciousness is amazing, but after Hunter it starts to drag. Would be legendary if they shortened it to even just one hour.

But it picks back up at Deep, Deep. The final three tracks are god-tier. Also Who Would Leave Their Son Out in the Sun and Waiting for the Black Metal Records are also incredible. Pretty much the whole album is 10/10 and you're wrong.

There are some great tracks but it definitely isn't captivating the whole time.

I've never understood this. This can't be the same dude right?
