The technical side isn't what makes Confield so good, it's the frigid atmosphere and semi-abstract structure that sets it apart.

Chiastic is good but it feels like a weird middle ground between Tri Rep and LP5 imo. It could just be personal preference though, I don't find myself going back to their pre-LP5 material a whole lot even though I like it a lot (except for Incunabula which just kinda feels like a pale imitation of what other acts were doing before/during/after).
