I think it depends on the track. For example, I'm not a fan of the song Cowgirl where its distorted and everything. There are some songs where he sounds amazing, really singing at times.

My opinion of grim is its enjoyable but very dependent on perspective and state of mind to be something I'd want to listen to more often. Some tracks are more interesting than others.
