I was hoping for some samples from the Akira soundtrack given that it's a 10/10 and one of Kanye's favorite movies

It was interesting if anything. This wasn't a remix of The Life of Pablo it was more like musical scrap-booking. It was like if you were laying in a room half asleep with the flu during a thunderstorm, the tv on a station with a weak signal, and somebody else in the room with you that can't get YouTube doubler to sync.

The 2nd use of the Sister Nancy sample is kind of just the original song with layers of effects I get that most of the album is similar to that but that one feels like it doesn't fit the tone imo, doesn't do much besides a biting high hat and delay

So, I listened to this album yesterday and had a few thoughts about it. First of all, it was a surprisingly good listen considering that it was literally made by /mu/, but there's also still room for improvement. (We should like, gather a list of improvements and then release a better version of the album. That would be so Kanye.)

I feel like the tracks' individual parts still seem a little too disjunct. Perhaps that kind of suits the theme, though. I feel like tying them together a little more neatly could improve the album.
Generally some 'callbacks' to earlier parts of the album or track would be nice, it would make the whole thing seem a little more coherent.
FSMHPt.3 starts getting too abrasive a little in. I see what you were going for, but it would've been better not to do it for a whole seven minutes. Instead, how about usage of manipulated FSMHP1/2 material, which then temporarly breaks apart, stretches out and breaks out into noise before jumping right back on track?

That said, there were a lot of really great moments here. Also, I think one of the original Pablo covers would be a better cover, while the one that's currently used would make an excellent back cover.

I've listened to it again, and imo it could be done right, it's just right now too abrasive and weirdly placed. I really like that the original tracks are still noticeable in the background, but that could be a little more obvious. Like, I get what it's supposed to mean, I feel like it's just too harsh for the sound of the album and too long.

The whole part from 1:58 to 2:25 is too sudden and loud. We need a much more smooth transition here, preferably one that slowly builds up.
What's happening after that is actually pretty good, on a second listen? I really kind of like it, the way the noise intervenes with the Kanye samples.
Still:
