tlop is maybe kanyes best album. i like how versatile it is. you can hear some of the old kanye in there, you got the mbdtf style with really nice voice production and shit, you have to gospel thingy he has done a bunch of times over the years. and its not just a blatant copy of his older sounds but he worked on them, made them relevant againe and some of the sounds are definitly at their peak right now. and in addition to that he's trying new things too, sure some of the things he plays around with are not 100% original and not done to perfection or anything but i dont think those few average tracks make the album considerable worse. plus it has the superb overall production quallity we've come to expect of him.

I agree. TLOP may not be his best album like you said, but it is easily his most versatile. his samples are second to none on TLOP and the fact that he is to thank for "Panda" becoming such a huge song of 2016 is pretty cool, even if "Panda" is fucking average.

How he manipulates samples around the structure of his original sounds are beautiful.
