What would happen if Pitchfork BNMs it?
is it good in your opinion?
Then it would probably be talked about on /mu/. I swear /mu/ has such shit taste it's insane

Was hoping for somebody to dump it here, haven't listened to it yet.
That said, from the 4 advanced songs, it will range between a 6 and a 7 in pitchfork.
It reminds me of the new American Football in that it tries too hard to be what it was but it clearly isn't. Hope to be proved wrong tho

I prefer This Is How It Always Starts from that album
I dunno. What happened the last time PItchfork BNR & BNM'd them?

They likely won't, it's a solid 7.4. Granddaddy overall is a 7.4 band, good but not great. And yet there's something very endearing and loveable about them.

They weren't a completely unknown band that make a couple incredible records a decade ago
Essential I'm on vacation overseas as a kid and heard them on the 28 days later soundtrack and buy all their cds at a local music store where we were staying-Core
Was bummed when they broke up

Grandaddy? Most people know who they are. They've been around for almost 30 years. They're now on the label of Danger Mouse, the big pop star. Very well known in America.

Didn't they fade into obscurity really quick?
Glad to hear that, anyway. I guess the ammount of views on their youtube videos nowadays doesn't mean much.
What about Jason Lytle as a solo artist?
I like this band. They sound good.
