It does and I'm very much here for that. Very cool sound. I think your sound would do well with some more downtempo stuff, slower eerier tracks mixed in would provide a wider depth of atmosphere that I think your style would really work well with. Not in lieu of what you're already doing which is rad, but in addition. For the sake of a more diverse album-wide experience I'd experiment with that. Obviously I'm basing this off of skimming through one album (going back now for a fuller playthrough) so I could be saying something you've already done in which case ignore my candy ass.

I listened to The Wunder, I like how it's a proper long track with lyrics telling a whole story. I like how the guitars are not shrill or harsh, but rather like a wooly warm fuzz. I do wish that the guitar tracks had a bit more clarity though, perhaps you could try layering a clean(ish) track over them on each side.
My only other complaint is that I wish you had more stuff I could listen to, I like the vibe of your stuff, very 90's in a good way

Oh I'm not that first guy, there's no question that they have better production value but there's a fucking reason they have to shill their garbage on fucking 4chan, man. Their music is garbage. Big fish, little pond. Any big band could post in one of these threads and be "better than most" that's not remotely impressive. Take that band out of a 4chan bandcamp thread and it would be a compliment to call it mediocre.

>>70633811
This is the kind of ambient I like, great stuff. Kind of unsettling and relaxing at the same time. Will definitively listen again
>>70636789
Why is it "shilling garbage" if they're well known but "sharing for feedback" if someone is doing it at home for a hobby? And maybe it's not your taste, but I certainly wouldn't call it "garbage" or "mediocre" when most music is electric guitar buttrock or bad hip hop
>>70636848
Dude the lyrics are so hammy and kitsch and the songwriting is just so plain and pop-oriented. Folk and Americana I can get into, this is just bad folk/Americana. Mediocre doesn't mean "the same as everybody else." There's plenty of electric guitar rock and hip hop significantly better than this.
Also by shilling I'm referring to that blatant samefaggotry display they did when they realized nobody was looking at their shit.
>>70636750
Because the music scene here consists of shitty green day tribute bands, tasteless le classic rock/metal tribute bands, and no originality whatsoever.
Keep in mind it's a 2nd world country.
There are 3 people in this country who make HNW (literally the easiest genre to make after complete silence) and one is me.
The only thing that keeps me inspired is moving to the capital to see a decent concert every onceinawhile. (Last year I saw Black Sabbath, Swans and Sunn, I probably would have stopped making music if I didn't)

I was a big fan of Carnival, can't wait to give this a listen.
>>70636895
I'm with >>70636736, you've got to be ultimately paranoid and protective of a 4chan board to think that band was samefagging. And are we listening to the same song?? What is "pop-oriented" and "plain" about a song in 3/4 with intricate fingerpicked guitar?? The lyrics I'll have to look at but at first listen they didn't seem to address anything too generic or "hammy"
Also I'd be interested in your hip hop recs

>>70637000
I'm not that guy but as somebody who's been on here a while, I agree with the sentiment that "they're popular" is not some kind of proof they wouldn't samefag. The worst samefagging shills I've seen in BC threads were fairly popular groups like Sorne and Carseat Headrest. And I can see why >>70636106 called samefag because that's exactly what it looks like. People who don't post their own music just sort of casually pretending they're just stopping in to say "oh btw this is so good."
I don't care if the band did or didn't but as a dude who has been on here long enough to have seen several popular bands come on here and samefag the hell out of bandcamp threads, that's exactly what it looks like.
