You have 10 seconds to name a better act associated with the early 2000s garage scene than The Streets.
Pro tip: you can't

MJ Cole
the only good thing to come from garage was seeing craig david's career be hilariously destroyed by some twat in a mask
>>70616328
It was only destroyed for a few years.
He's back now and he's been all over the radio in the UK for the past year or so. The man's back with hits.

IS GARAGE DEAD?
>>70616740
still, he was on his way to becoming absolutely huge.
I feel bad for him but you have to admit the ridiculousness of his downfall was funny
>>70616955
I doubt he would've gotten much bigger. Garage was losing its lustre especially with the emergence of grime. He would've had to become an R&B artist, but that would've meant his main competition (up and coming young R&B singers) would've been Chris Brown who was better in every single way.

Kasabian.
Oups, my bad, I thought it was about Garage Rock!
OP is correct, but I'd still like to hear some Streets-esque stuff from the same time period
As an act probably The Streets yeah, especially for rockists, because you know... Mike was releasing albums. No way is he the best garage producer or DJ from that time. Who was actually setting it off at clubs?

Dizzee Rascal - Brand New Day is like the only other good song in that whole genre.
