Rec me some lesser known IDM
>µ-ziq - Lunatic Harness
don't know why this doesn't get mentioned more
>FC Kahuna - Machine Says Yes
electronica, not IDM exactly, but worthwhile
Definitely not really "lesser known" but I rarely see Bricolage mentioned these days

I was about to listen to Lunatic Harness today. Who's he closest to?
>>70606355
i always thought of him as closest to squarepusher

>µ-ziq
good call. he has some new shit inbound btw
revisiting some ATR now

I'll check it out.
Out of all the big Warp acts of that decade I've definitely listened to Squarepusher the least. Where would you suggest I go after Go Plastic? I certainly liked it but it didn't feel all that unique (compared to Autechre/RDJ/BoC who are all pretty immediately recognizable and distinct). Maybe I just need to listen to it again.

What about IDM that mixes genres like Velocity : Design : Comfort?
There's gotta be something else out there

Check out Esem's album "Enveloped". His music is almost like a catchier and more easily approachable version of Autechre's older stuff. He never gets mentioned here.
