I fucking wish. This board has no taste. I would contribute, but I don't know much about powerviolence, other than that its a cousin of Screamo and Grindcore, which I love.

I start screamo threads all the fucking time, and those never do well. I'm admitting that I'm a bit of a pleb, and I only like a handful of powerviolence bands, but I can respect it as a genre, and also acknowledge that nobody here knows/cares about it.

Posting powerviolence classic. Their entire discography, only about 45 minutes long, all quality though.

The form of music that powerviolence introduced is probably among my personal favorites when it comes to straight forward punk music because it really optimizes crazy visceral intensity with absolutely no time wasted at all.

Didn't see this post. Saw City Of Caterpillar live in Richmond a few weeks back. Great fucking show. Recommend catching them in this reunion tour if the tickets at your local spot's are still available.
