TMS is their most well known work and will easily become their legacy. The penis album will be remembered as their edgy follow-up that was nowhere as good.

It was at a high point in Cursive's music catalogue.

They'd had quite a few years of experience before this album and adding Gretta Cohn on cello worked perfectly with the mournful tone of the album...

It came out when I was 20, so I suppose it was at that particular time when everything felt more vivid.
That's not to say my life's empty or grey now, it's just how one feels when they are young and experiencing everything for the first time.
