Great album.
10 years ago...and it feels like yesterday. I want to die.
the first half of this album is way better than the second half
dude could have put she's a rejecter in the first 8 songs and ended on the past is a grotesque animal and it probably would have been his best album. instead that's satanic panic
One of my favourite albums of all time.

except the transition into she's a rejector from labyrinthian pomp is fucking perfect

This, She's a Rejector without Labyrinthian Pomp is no longer She's a Rejector
>>70596857
they really should replace past is a grotesque animal with no conclusion.
come at me

Shit man, I remember finding of Montreal in high school. Hissing Fauna was always their best imo.

Glad to see someone shares this opinion.

pretty much all of oM's albums suffer from lackluster second halves in comparison to the first

I really love this album.

We Were Born Again the Mutants With Leafling is the perfect closer though, the culmination of a fantastic three-song streak and the segue from She's A Rejector is an incredible way of winding down to a close while maintaining the album's momentum
Whoa, weird. I listened through this for the first time this morning.

Weird.
Great album though. I love any album that can balance spastic highs and manic energy with crushing depression. Not to be buzz-wordy but its a very Bipolar album
