So, what do you guys think of this?

Shit, 2/5
Good. A little short but I'd rather have good and short than 90 minutes of bullshit like Star Power
I didn't hate Star Power but should have been like the 9 actual songs and one long spacey jam and it would have been 10 times better.

Much better than "We are the..."
Love the feeling it evokes and the range of instruments.
From the best I´ve heard this year alongside Xiu Xiu.

quite good but nothing overwhelming
Really appreciate the ambition and it had a lot of potential, but I was disappointed by how little it lived up to it.

I honestly loved it, reminds me a lot of the kinks
ehhh it's not bad, but it's not very good either. I'm no expert on the sorts of show tunes or musicals I feel the album drawing from, so take my critique with a grain of salt. but the arrangements don't sound very fresh next to the old tunes the album is inspired by. I feel like if foxygen had taken the material they derived from in a more idiosyncratic direction it would have been really amazing. but unfortunately it just sounds like some kids singing over broadway standards. I do find their array of instruments impressive but the music itself just falls flat for me.
TTKOB > Peace and Magic > Hang >>> Star Power

It's funny because I like and hate Hang for the opposite reasons why I love and hate And Star Power. Hang is too short while Star Power is too long and Hang has a good concept whereas Star Power falls flat on its face.
I rated it a 7/10 until Fantano did, now I have to change my opinion. I guess I hate it now?

Melon's opinion on this album was bs on how much he likes Foxygen.
I give this album a 5.5/10
It's too damn short and to be honest I believe Rado and France played it safe with this one, comparing it to TTKOF
