Most underrated Bowie album, but it's no where near ziggy stardust
>>70547905
better than ziggy stardust
>>70547905
it's damn close but there are at least 3 other Bowie albums that could be considered his best and Aladdin Sane isn't one of them.
"no"
no
also diamond dogs is better and not even the best Bowie album
Cracked Actor is so fucking good
But yeah overall the album, while great, falls short of the top tier of Bowie records (Station, Ziggy)
This is the most underrated Bowie's album
>>70548364
No. that'd be Scary Monsters
Why does Lodger get so much praise, it's shit compared to Low and Heroes
I love Drive-In Saturday, one of the best glam era bowie songs.
>>70548806
It doesn't get praised. It was a critical and commercial flop. If anything it's one of his most underrated.
>>70547905
Correct, it's his third best after Low and "Heroes"
lol no
>>70548089
>Most underrated Bowie album
That would be either Space Oddity or The Man Who Sold The World
>>70548907
I thought I'd enjoy an album that Adrian Belew played on, given his output throughout the 80's, but Lodger wasn't anything special sadly.
I wouldn't call it underrated, the album was way more successful then Ziggy was on release. But Ziggy was much more unique and interesting, Alladan Sane felt like Bowie wanted to do something else and drop the glamrock but couldn't because everyone wanted another Ziggy.
>>70548806
I didn't like Lodger at first, but it definitely clicked with me on later listens.
>Aladdin Sane (1913-1938-197?)
Really though, what the fuck does it mean?
better than ziggy stardust
>>70551361
it's Bowie's prediction of WWIII. the first date is the beginning of WWI, the second the beginning of WWII.
better than Ziggy Stardust
>>70552314
