6/10 albums

If it didn't get rave reviews of at least 9/10 and wasn't praised as being innovative or game changing then why would I waste my time listening to it

It's been a good while since anyone started a thread like this, I like it. Speaking of, Grab that Gun by the Organ is exactly what you're talking about. It's decent, good for background noise - almost there to a great album.

not the guy but I guess I only listen to critically acclaimed albums or stuff recommended on mu. Guess I'm a drone lol. I should probably branch out.

I enjoy it immensely, so it's at least an 8-9 for me, but I wanted to know what other people thought of it.

For me I just can't be listening to mindblowing uber works all the time. It's exhausting, for a start. Also if you just consist of a diet of nothing but the best your standards become inflated and you become a bit dulled to quality.

Sometimes I want to listen to an album to just enjoy it, you know? To just vibe out and relax. I don't need to have some transcendental work every dang time.
