One of the only good DM bands around here. The scene's filled to the brim with generic, swedish death metal worship and mediocre, boring, teenage thrash bands.

Homewrecker are a fun band. I saw them when they supported Skeletonwitch and it's a damn shame the crowd wasn't really getting into them. I really wanted to go apeshit in a mosh pit during "Punish the Ignorance."

For me I'd say it's very close between pic related and Vektor, although they are certainly too big to be considered "local bands."
