why can't both things just exist
it's like "Aphex Twin" ran through an Anthony Fantano Adjective Generator

tommy was ripping off Tangerine Dream, Can, and Klaus Schulze. Inserting any of them in the top would suit this meme better than afx

>Okay, so I don't know anything about music, but I do own a thesaurus and experience emotions
Pitchfork needs to publicly apologize for what they've done to music criticism and discussion

when was the last time autechre came up with some that made you go "wow this sounds new"?
with aphex for me it was druqks back in 2001, with autechre same, confields (2001)
i think both peaked there, since then nothing sounds new or ground breaking anymore, im afraid there is no space for new groundbreaking music anymore
they have released quality stuff since then tho, some exquisite shit in elseq and aphex shows he still got it in syro (even tho again, its now WOW WTF IS THIS tier anymore)
