What does /mu/ think about Kurt Cobain's top 50 albums?
pretty good for a guy who lived in the time before the internet
he was essentially a patrician punk
*nods approvingly*
He had pretty good taste, especially considering this was before rym, /mu/ and all that.
impressive back then but now its just entry level RYM noobiecore
bumpsy
I don't believe anyone who says the Shags are genuinely in their top 50.

>i dont like it so no one can
>>70520820
colossal youth is absolute garbage but besides that his taste is p good
>>70521669
from what i understand he made jokes like that all the time, would have been just like him to slip something like that in there
constantly pulling peoples legs, a shitposter of the old school kind
>>70520820
he was maybe a bit too much of a '2obscure4u' guy but this is also a clear example of the taste of someone that loves music
>>70520820
punk is bad
>>70520820
It's all stuff one can find not only in punk oriented record stores back then, but even such record stores today. Not surprising that he likes that kind of stuff.
>>70520820
wait, its this nirvana's top 50 as a group?
I would think cobain's would have later beatles
>>70522112
Sure, let's see you just go to some record store and grab that Shonen Knife tape or Tales of Terror
(a record store near me actually has Tales of Terror right now but I don't have $100 of spending money and I've never heard the thing cause no one put it on PTH or APL yet...)

My local punk type record store definitely has Japanese stuff though. Even more obscure Japanese stuff than Shonen Knife like Zouo has made its way here.
>but I don't have $100 of spending money
It wouldn't have been $100 back then, dummy!
